This year marks a major milestone for Fireline UK—we’re proud to be celebrating our 25th anniversary. Over the past quarter of a century, we’ve worked hard to keep homes, businesses, and communities safe through our fire safety services. But now, it’s time to do something a little different—and a lot more personal.

To mark our 25th year in business, we’ve chosen to support an incredibly special charity: Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal. As part of our celebrations, we’re taking on a series of fundraising events to raise money and awareness—and we’d love for you to get involved!

Why We Chose Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal

There are many worthy causes out there, but this one really struck a chord with our team. Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal was founded in memory of Hannah Woods, a brave and bright young girl who sadly passed away from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2004 at just 10 years old.

Throughout her treatment, Hannah dreamed of helping other children like her. She wanted to create a place where seriously ill children and their families could escape from the pressures of hospital visits and treatments, and simply enjoy some precious time together. Her legacy lives on through the charity, which now offers beautiful seaside respite homes for families dealing with childhood cancer and life-limiting conditions.

We couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to honour our 25th year than by helping this remarkable charity continue its vital work.

The Fireline UK 25th Anniversary Fundraising Events

We’re not just asking for donations—we’re getting stuck in! Our team has a line-up of exciting (and exhausting!) fundraising events planned to raise as much as possible for Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal. Here’s what we’ve got coming up:

‍♂️‍♀️21st June – Charity Walk: Hengistbury Head to Bournemouth Pier and Back

Our anniversary challenge kicks off with a 14-mile charity walk along the stunning Dorset coastline.

We’ll be setting off from Hengistbury Head car park, climbing to the top of the Head, passing the beach huts, strolling along Christchurch Harbour, through Southbourne and Boscombe, all the way to Bournemouth Pier—before turning around and doing it all again on the return leg.

But we won’t just be quietly ambling along—we’ll be loud, proud, and dressed to impress to help raise awareness and donations. Expect plenty of Fireline fun, energy, and maybe even a few surprises!

12th September – Fire Safety Awareness Day & BBQ

We’re throwing open the doors of our Blandford offices for a special Fire Safety Awareness Open Day, complete with hands-on fire training sessions and a sizzling BBQ.

In return for donations, visitors can take part in practical safety demonstrations, learn how to use fire extinguishers, and get expert advice on staying safe at home and at work. Whether you’re a business owner, a parent, or simply curious—there’s something for everyone.

Fireline UK Open Day – 12th September

12th September – Spinathon Challenge

On the same day as our open day, the team will be taking on a Spinathon like no other.

We’ll be cycling the equivalent distance from our Blandford HQ to each of Hannah’s three holiday homes—and back again. It’s a serious physical challenge, but we’re ready to push ourselves to the limit to raise awareness and funds for the families who benefit from these special places.
