Fireline UK Open Day – Join Us on Friday 12th September for a Day of Fire Safety, Fundraising and Celebration

This year marks a major milestone for Fireline UK – our 25th anniversary. To celebrate a quarter of a century of keeping people and premises safe, we’re inviting customers, local businesses, and the wider community to join us for a very special Open Day on Friday 12th September.
This won’t just be a celebration of our journey – it will be a meaningful, action-packed charity fundraising and fire safety awareness event, with plenty to learn, enjoy and support.
We’ve got an exciting line-up of activities planned, all in aid of Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal, a charity close to our hearts that provides much-needed respite holidays for children with serious or terminal illnesses and their families. Representatives from the charity will also be joining us on the day.
So, whether you’re a business owner, facilities manager, landlord, or simply someone who wants to brush up on fire safety while supporting a good cause, we’d love to see you there.
Here’s what you can expect…
Fire Safety Training – For a Good Cause
Throughout the day, we’ll be running Basic Fire Awareness training sessions, delivered by our qualified team. These short sessions are open to anyone attending and will provide practical, easy-to-understand guidance on what to do in the event of a fire.
For a small donation per person, all proceeds of which will go directly to Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal, you’ll receive:
- Professional Fire Awareness Training
- A certificate of attendance, valid for 12 months
- Practical knowledge that could help save lives
Whether it’s for you, your staff, or a family member, this is a great opportunity to get certified while contributing to a truly worthwhile cause.
First Aid Demonstrations
We’ll also be welcoming a qualified First Aider, who’ll be running a brief talk and demonstration on essential first aid skills. It’s a chance to learn or refresh some life-saving basics in a relaxed, interactive environment.
The demo will cover:
- Immediate steps in an emergency
- Using a defibrillator
- How to assist someone in the event of burns or smoke inhalation
It’s just one more way we’re helping raise safety awareness across the board.
Fire Risk Assessor – Ask the Expert
Ever wondered what a fire risk assessment should really include? Or when you legally need to update yours?
We’ll have an experienced Fire Risk Assessor on hand throughout the day to answer your questions, offer guidance, and explain how a professional fire risk assessment can help keep your people, property, and business protected and compliant.
Feel free to pop over for an informal chat – no appointment needed.
️ Weekly Checks – Try It Yourself
We believe that fire safety isn’t just about regulations – it’s about regular, proactive maintenance too.
That’s why our training room will be kitted out with interactive equipment, giving you a hands-on opportunity to learn how to carry out your weekly fire safety checks.
We’ll show you:
- What to check on extinguishers and alarms
- How to log and document your findings
- Common faults to watch out for
- The value of staying consistent with your checks
It’s an ideal demo for site managers, caretakers, and anyone responsible for fire safety in the workplace or community spaces.
Talking Fire Door Inspections
Fire doors save lives, but only when they’re working properly. Our team will be on hand to talk you through what’s involved in a fire door inspection, how often they should be carried out, and what signs indicate wear, damage, or non-compliance.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your responsibilities and how we can support you in meeting them.
Celebrating 25 Years of Fireline UK
Alongside all the training and education, we’ll also be celebrating 25 years of Fireline UK.
We’ve come a long way since we started, and we couldn’t have done it without our fantastic clients, hardworking staff, and the local community. This Open Day is as much a thank you as it is a fundraiser – and we promise there’ll be something for everyone.
Expect:
- Fun and games throughout the day
- Light refreshments
- A warm welcome from our friendly team
- More surprises to be announced – stay tuned!
