Fire and safety training is an essential part of health and safety at work for all employees. Our training sessions can be held at the client’s premises where we can highlight the fire precautions located on your premises and adapt our presentation according to the needs of the organisation.Our courses are run by a qualified fire trainer at your premises, and a Certificate of Attendance will be issued on completion. Our 3-hour fire warden course is designed for staff with fire warden duties, and who may also be required to operate fire extinguishers safely.
The courses are presented in an easy, understandable way by our experienced and qualified engineers. We offer 3 courses:
– Course One is a basic fire training course, including a Q&A session and a hands-on practical session ~ 1 hour.
– Course Two is a fire warden training course, and is more in-depth than course one. Including a Q&A session and a hands-on practical session ~ 3 hours.
– Course Three is a competent person training course, aimed at those who hold the responsibility of completing fire safety checks. Including a Q&A session and a hands-on practical session ~ 2 hours.
Both courses include a practical session where staff can have a hands-on approach in the safe discharge of a fire extinguisher on a simulated fire situation. (if practical and weather permitting). We also offer a discount if two or more training courses are carried out on the same day. You will also receive a handout covering the main points of the course for each staff member upon completion.
We also hold in-house fire warden training sessions at our premises at Glenmore Business Park on a per-person basis. This option is most suitable for businesses who only require a small number of employees to be trained, either to a basic level or fire warden standard.
